Laurie Erceg

College Guidance Counselor

Laurie is a 2013 Teacher of the Year Award recipient in Alameda County.

Her excellent work continues, providing positive and supportive guidance to students in high school and their parents.

Laurie is a Pleasanton resident. She is a California Certified Medical Assistant, CPR Instructor, hospice volunteer and enjoys working with non-profit organizations. She enjoys travel, playing guitar and being with family and friends.

For the past 35 years, she has enjoyed successful careers in business, healthcare and education. From 1994 to 2014, Laurie served college and high school students in the Bay Area teaching health science and medical assisting ROP programs. Working with community partners and area school districts, Laurie has a solid track record in career technical education. Laurie possesses a keen ability to match students with career opportunities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocational Education and earned her teaching credential at San Jose State University.
