Lynne Menon
Student Positioning Counselor
Lynne has always been passionate about supporting student success. Her journey began when she joined the health and wellness committee at her kids’ elementary school. As the P.T.A. Wellness Chair of the local high school, Lynne spearheaded an anti-vaping campaign and organized important suicide prevention sessions for parents.
Lynne’s professional background is diverse, having worked at A.C. Nielsen, the American Cancer Society, and Tri-Valley Haven. Currently, Lynne serves as chair of the Tri-Valley Writers High School Writing Contest, showcasing her commitment to promoting literacy and creativity in young minds.
With a strong dedication to mental health and wellness, Lynne is a certified mental health first aid provider and a Breathe for Change Wellness Champion, trained in mindfulness and yoga. She believes in lifelong learning and holds a B.S. in Marketing, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (M.S.W.).
Lynne resides in the Tri-Valley with her family and two rescue dogs. Her daughter is a Manufacturing Engineer who graduated from California Poly Technical Institute, where her son is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
